So my question is this: If my hands are numb or sometimes tingly for hours on end, is that a bad thing?

Yes. If it's mostly the little finger on one hand, could be carpal tunnel from computer use. If it's the whole hand, something's going funny with your circulation and you should see a doctor about it. And you should also consult a big box of wings at my place 'cause, you know.

Sounds like a plan. And also sounds a bit like carpal tunnel, it comes and goes at this point.
